| The Water Science Center's Hydrologic Applications and Network Operations Section has the capability to install and operate data-collection stations for a wide variety of hydrologic and related data. Data can be collected on an instantaneous or continuous basis and transmitted in real-time, including via the internet, when needed. Examples of typical data-collection activities include:
