LOCATION.--Lat 44°22'54", long 72°46'13", Washington County, Hydrologic Unit 02010003, at dam on Little River 2.7 mi
upstream from mouth and 3.5 mi north of Waterbury.
DRAINAGE AREA.--109 mi².
PERIOD OF RECORD.--Elevation: September 1937 to current year. September 1937 to September 1938 monthend contents
only, published in WSP 1307.
GAGE.--Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is sea level (levels by U.S. Corps of Engineers). Prior to
December 10, 1938, nonrecording gage at same site and datum.
REMARKS.--Records good. Reservoir is formed by earthfill dam completed by U.S. Army Corps of Engineers during summer
of 1937 for flood control and storage of water for power. Usable capacity for storage of water for power,
1.58 billion ft³ between elevations 500.0 ft and 592.0 ft, sill of taintor gate; for flood control,
1.23 billion ft³, between elevations 592.0 ft and 617.5 ft, crest of spillway; total usable capacity,
2.81 billion ft³.
