The New Hampshire-Vermont Water Science Center of the U.S. Geological Survey in cooperation with the NH Department of Environmental Services has conducted a study to assess groundwater resources in the Seacoast region of New Hampshire. The main objectives of the USGS activities were to estimate current and future water use and groundwater availability. The two major products of this water resources assessment are listed below, and links to the archived project pages are to the left. In addition, the NH Geoogical Survey conducted a number of study activities that included creating a well database for the region, mapping surficial geology, and assessing recharge. |
